YOU NEED JESUS/SOMETHING THAT WILL MAKE YOU LAUGH

One day a young woman was going out of town, and asked her Grandmother to watch her Parrot. Her Grandmother said "Yes", and the young woman went on a week long vacation.  The young woman returned and took her beloved Parrot home. Later, that evening, her boyfriend came over and was speaking SWEET NOTHINGS, in her ears. The boyfriend said "Baby, We need to make up for lost time", then the Parrot spoke"YOU NEED JESUS". The young woman and her boyfriend was astonished , she didn't even know the Parrot could speak. The young woman immediately picked up the phone and called her Grandmother. "Grandmother, she said, did you train Peek-a-Boo (the parrot's name) to talk? " No Dear, Why "? Her Grandmother asked. "Never mind," said the young lady and hung up the phone. The Grandmother hung up the phone and looked at the picture of her beautiful grandaughter and her grandaughter's boyfriend, like she did every night, and said out loud, pointing to the picture, "You need Jesus", and went to bed. DON'T ALLOW ANYBODY TO RAIN ON YOUR PARADE!

You will find out, that as you start to do GOD'S WILL, The enemy will send somebody to remind you where God has brought you from! They are not saying these things, to Praise God  for the changes in your life. However, they are trying  to discourage you and put you down! Well, You know what, your response should be to the Naysayers AND Soothsayers! The Lord has forgotten about it, I have turned my back on it, why are you mentioning it? Those old stumbling blocks have no bearing on your life right now! You don't have to spend the rest of your Delivered Life, apologizing to others for the mistakes of the past! "It is done!" Jesus said it best!  Then give them a Testimony, " I don't live like that anymore, those people, those things, don't even know where I live, and are not welcomed in my santified life anymore. The Lord has brought me to a new place, given me a new mind set, and placed my feet in a new direction! Then make it sweet! " I know he isn't through with me yet, however, he has brought me from a mighty long way"!, "Don't you want to go with me, to my father's house"? Then take them to the House Of Worship, so they can know how sweet it is to experience the wonderful mercy and love of Jesus Christ Our Lord!

A SONG FOR ALL SEASONS:




I awoke this morning with a song in my Heart. A line of the song went like this, "He would not come down from the cross just to save himself, he decided, he decided to DIE for me! However, I sung the song with a twist! He would not come down from the cross,just to save himself, he decided, he decided, (can I repeat myself) he decided, to DIE for DAPHNE! I encourage you to make this Song personal in your life, believe me it will give you strength! This song is usually sung on Resurrection Sunday! However, For me it is A SONG FOR ALL SEASONS, at anytime, all the time, it is good to remember, why I have Life, and have Life more abundantly! Everyday Of our lives as a Believer, Born again Christian, Follower of Jesus Christ and his Word, we may need to sing this song, as a reminder that Jesus paid the price, and HE ALONE died for our sins. "If he can Die for me, then I can Live for him! Living for him, is not allowing anybody, anything, any circumstance, to separate you from the love of GOD! Nothing, Should cause you to turn around and go back to EGYPT,(If you are a believer, you know what I mean by Egypt)! Talk to God today and tell him how much you love him, tell him that, Nothing will take away my Belief, My Faith, My Strength! No matter what happens around me! No matter how many Saints of God fall, they may fall to the left of you, fall to the right of you, fall before you, fall behind you, however, Your eyes are on the Prize, Your eyes are on JESUS, if you can pick a brother or sister up and encourage them along the way, fine! Remember, if one of us is under attack, then all of us are under attack! However, Do Not be distracted from the CALL ON YOUR LIFE, Because of the disappointments in this life! Tell the LORD, I will be that good Soldier, pressing on, because I know that with CHRIST, I have already Won! I don't care what it looks like, the battle is not over! Says The LORD! If Jesus can endure the Cross, Surely we can endure this Christian walk. You don't have a mandate to DIE for anyone, JESUS DID IT, however, You have a mandate to DIE to your FLESH and LIVE for CHRIST, die to anything that will hinder you from being ALL that GOD has called you to be! Keep the Faith, Jesus has proven his love toward us, Now, let us Love him, with all our hearts, all our soul, and all our Might! Remember the ENEMY only comes after something, if it is a threat to his kingdom! Be encouraged and listen to the LORD for direction in all things! He will never steer you wrong! WELCOME TO MY WORLD!

I will admit that this phrase "IN YOUR WORLD" is taken from a comment made by my grandson Dalton Kane Scott to his mother Cherene. Pearls from the mouth of Babes! "IN YOUR WORLD", by my  interpretation, means I am not in agreement with your perception of something, I  perceive something totally different. This is what we need to tell people, when they have a lower expectation of God. When they cannot see his power and influence in everyday circumstances. Because "IN MY WORLD"if it was not for the Lord, I would have been 6 feet deep a long time ago! However, He keeps blessing me and watching over my children, that I pray for all of the time. They may not see all of the dangers that the Lord has delivered them from, seen and unseen, however, "IN MY WORLD" I give him all of the Glory for all the good things that have transpired in their lives and mine. "IN MY WORLD" I thank him for the sun, rain, moon and the stars. 'IN MY WORLD' I awake every morning with an expectancy that I can make it through today, no matter what comes, because I trust in my Lord And Saviour, Jesus Christ! I cannot make it without his love and a knowing, that as long as I have him in my life, I can make it through ANYTHING, this world throws at me! My world is one of FAITH, HOPE and LOVE, and a belief, if we would only try him we would see him, in every breath that we take! We would know that he breathes on us every morning and wakes us up to a brand new day! Glory be to God, for his love and mercy towards all of us!  "WELCOME TO MY WORLD"! Love, Mother Daphne
