Part Two: Why Do Christians Suffer?

Jesus is our Perfect example of how to handle trials and tribulations.

1 Peter 2:21
King James Version (KJV)
21 For even hereunto were ye called: because Christ also suffered for us, leaving us an example, that ye should follow his steps:

How do we make it through troubling times?
-By following the perfect example of Jesus.
-By having the word of God hidden in our hearts.
-By being filled with his precious Holy Ghost that we don't thirst during those dry spells in our lives.
-By praying and fasting, which gets God's attention.

There are some Spiritual Principles we need to know and understand when trials and tribulations come.

We need to know that we are Loved.

Romans 5:8

King James Version (KJV)

8 But God commendeth his love toward us,in that, while we were yet sinners,Christ died for us.

We need to know that we are never alone, as long as we have Jesus.

Matthew 28:20
King James Version (KJV)
20 Teaching them to observe all things whatsoever I have commanded you: and,lo, I am with you always, even unto the end of the world. Amen

We need to know that the Lord will deliver us from trouble.

Psalm 34:17
King James Version (KJV)

17 The righteous cry, and the Lord heareth , and delivereth them out of all their troubles.
