I Heard His Call

I heard a sound

A rustling in the wind

A force moving through the atmosphere

I felt the power of his might

His presence could not be ignored

I had to stand still and pay attention

I could not move left

I could not move right

I realized that he wanted me to stop and take notice

Something told me I could not put this off till tomorrow

So, I watched, prayed, and it was the Lord, demanding my attention.
